What can I use to take super glue off of a gold chain necklace?
Super glue exploded onto my favorite necklace. * sigh * I have heard acetone will take super glue off, but will it damage the gold? How should I go about getting all the gunk out of the tiny links?
fingernail polish remover (w/acetone) & a toothbrush. Then rinse in warm soapy water. Limited exposure to the acetone shouldn’t hurt the gold, if it’s real gold, (not plating). Be sure to use a brush & clean it–don’t soak it.
